A new important initiative against the ivory trade.

The Elephant Action League strongly supports a new protest and a petition to get the Hong Kong government to burn their ivory stockpile and ban the domestic trade.
The total stockpile could be as big as 25 tons.

The petition organizers are two young girls, Lucy Lan Skrine (柯嵐), aged 11, and Christina Seigrist (孫藍慧), aged 8, who both live and go to school in Hong Kong (in the picture).
This initiative forms a part of the global ‘International March for Elephants’.
